How in the world would you expect

This thing to start anew?

A friendship has its fragile times

When I can count on you.

 

Trust is not my strongest trait,

And neither is it yours.

I left contacts open here,

Still, I heard slamming doors.

 

I thought I wasn’t worth enough,

And then I realized…

The fear your life’s suspended in…

And could not break these ties.

 

We cannot start over again

A thing that never stopped.

We can continue, I’d like to,

This friendship never dropped…
